Persuasive Presentations

INTRODUCTION, MODULES 1, 2 & 3  | 22 MINUTES

Learn how to deliver persuasive messages in high-stakes rooms by becoming clear, confident, and competent in your delivery. You will reframe presentations around their real purpose, driving a decision, not just sharing information. You will define the outcome you want, cut anything that does not serve it, and avoid common mistakes like relying on slides, overloading data, or confusing informing with persuading.

You will also learn how to align with your audience by mapping decision makers, blockers, skeptics, and influencers, understanding what they value, reading the room, and adapting to executives, technical stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Each lesson is short and actionable, with reflection exercises to help you improve real presentations and end with a clear call to action.

MODULES 4,5 & 6 | 24 MINUTES

Learn how to build presentations that are easier to follow and easier to act on by using a simple six part structure: hook, context, problem, solution, call to action, and close. You will improve pacing and transitions so your message keeps momentum and finishes strong with a clear final ask.

You will also learn how to craft a powerful opening using story, stats or contrast, a bold statement, or a question, while avoiding weak openers like small talk or apologies. Finally, you will learn how to create persuasive content that connects logic and emotion using contrast, analogy, and story, simplifying without dumbing down, and choosing examples that resonate so your presentation feels like a story instead of a lecture.

MODULES 7,8 & 9 | 19 MINUTES

Learn how to persuade different audiences by matching your message to the mindset in the room. You will adapt your language and structure for executive audiences by leading with the conclusion, framing ideas in business priorities like ROI, efficiency, and risk, and pre-handling objections with clear risk and reward thinking.

You will also learn how to build slides that support you instead of competing with you by keeping one idea per slide, using clean visual hierarchy and white space, and presenting data with clear insight and consistency. Finally, you will strengthen your influence with storytelling by using tension, simple story formats like before and after or problem solution, and emotional pacing that helps your message stick and motivates action.

MODULES 10,11 & 12 | 16 MINUTES

Make your presentations end in action by learning how to deliver a clear, confident call to action that is specific, tied to audience impact, and supported by honest urgency. You will practice wording that is assertive without being pushy and learn how to highlight the next step so momentum does not die at the end. You will also strengthen trust through nonverbal communication by improving posture, stillness, intentional movement, and purposeful gestures while managing nervous energy and using space with awareness.

Finally, you will sharpen the expressive side of delivery by aligning facial expression with meaning, using steady eye contact to create connection, and controlling vocal tone with pace, pauses, and inflection so your audience feels the message and follows your lead.

MODULES 13,14 & 15 | 13 MINUTES

Learn how to deliver your message effectively in any format by adapting your presence for virtual, in-person, and hybrid presentations. You will improve virtual delivery with better camera framing, lighting, posture, and controlled gestures, and build a stronger connection by looking into the camera, using names, and asking direct questions. You will also learn how to use physical space in a room to mark transitions, move with purpose, and stay visible without blocking slides.

Next, you will build a repeatable rehearsal system by practicing the flow of ideas, recording yourself, getting feedback using a start-stop-continue method, and trimming anything that does not support your message. Finally, you will wrap the course with simple principles that reinforce serving not performing, using silence to regain control, knowing your key points, warming up your opening and call to action, and repeating the system to earn trust and drive action.
